The American Society of International Law (ASIL) initiated a Global Engagement Series in collaboration with our regional Colleague Societies. The series comprise four virtual events held as “previews” in the weeks preceding ASIL’s Annual Meeting. AfSDJN is the lead coordinator of this years Global Engagement Series for the African Region.The preview sessions will be available worldwide, free of charge.

The Afronomicslaw.org Academic Forum Lecture Series brings experts and discussants together to discuss broad issues arising from international economic law as they relate to Africa and the Global South.

The APRM technical support mission team undertook a series of consultations with a variety of stakeholders in the Republic of Kenya from the 25th of November to 3rd of December 2021. The mission team held meetings with representatives from the National Treasury, Central Bank of Kenya (CBK), Capital Markets Authority, Office of the IMF representative in Kenya, Representatives of banking sector, Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry amongst other stakeholders.

Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, Boston University; African Studies Center; and Global Development Policy Center present an online Event themed: "Foreign Economic Policy & the African State: African Agency in the 21st Century" 

The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) needs no introduction anymore. It is arguably the African Union’s biggest project since the launch of Agenda 2063 in January 2013, which is our blueprint for sustainable development and economic growth of our Continent.
