The GNLU Centre for Sports and Entertainment Law is please to host the 1st International Conference on Sports Law in the Global South in collaboration with the renowned T.M.C. Asser Instituut International Sports Law Centre, Netherlands.

For the first time in India, this landmark event will explore the unique legal challenges and opportunities faced by the Global South in the dynamic world of sports law.

Selected participants will also get an opportunity to publish in a collaborative volume by GCSEL and the International Sports Law Centre, Netherlands. 

Please submit an abstract of 300 words along with your CV no later than February 15, 2025 to gcsl@gnlu.ac.in & tsingh@gnlu.ac.in. Selected speakers will be informed by February 28, 2025.

The selected participants will be required to submit a short draft (3000 words) of their paper by April 15, 2025. 

Papers accepted and presented at the conference will be eligible for publication in an edited volume on sports law by GCSEL and the Asser International Sports Law Centre, subject to peer review.
